Nestled in arguably the best location in Boston between the Back Bay and South End is 30 Dalton, one of Boston’s premiere luxury apartment buildings.
Enter the stylish lobby with curved, transparent wall cradling a welcoming lounge. The concierge desk is staffed 24/7 and typically also hosts a designee from the management company or leasing office as well. Dog treats are offered here as well as a snack/hydration station for guests and residents. Visitors have plenty of parking options as there are two hotels in the immediate vicinity along with a large parking garage.
Leasing office is on the second floor as is the large library equipped with 4 computer stations armed with large Mac computers along with a Starbucks coffee machine (for a fee). A conference room is also located nearby for residents use. On this floor you will also find dedicated bike storage and a pet washing and grooming station.
Units are very nicely done- not overstated but one can definitely sense the luxury designs throughout. Storage space is plentiful which is all too rare in your new construction buildings. The units previewed at 30 Dalton offered very large walk-in closets in each of the bedrooms. Bathrooms are appointed with extra deep soaking tubs and the bathroom tile is consistent in design and very modern. Tones of greys and taupes run throughout but they do a very good job of minimizing it so it doesn’t feel drab. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer various views of the city on upper floors. Residents can grab glimpses of the Charles River looking Northward and great views of the South End- and beyond to the Blue Hills- when gazing South.
Penthouse units on the 24-26th floors offer extra ceiling height and premium finishes. A duo of 3000+ sq ft. Premier Penthouse Suites on the 26th floor offer unparalleled living in the local batch of luxury apartments. Multi-level living with vaulted ceilings, 500+ sq. ft. private roof decks, electronic sunshades and spacious bedrooms all with en suite baths are just some of the unique features these units can offer. They’re truly a cut above most of what you can find in this segment in the neighborhood but expect to reach deep into your pockets if you’d like to live here. As the saying goes, if you have to ask how much it is, you likely cannot afford it.
Arguably the crown jewel of the building is the sky lounge located on the 26th floor. This double high room is large enough to hosts large parties and is home to the resident events in the building. It offers incredible views, a wrap around outdoor terrace, linear gas fireplace under a substantial TV hung above, catering kitchen, plenty of plush seating and a billiards table. A private dining room is also available for residents use. Nearby is the ample sized gym with attached yoga studio with great views of the Charles River.
