Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Mundt.

Adam Mundt, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my real estate career at a local firm where I ran the office and managed up to 12 agents at any given time- many who were and still are some of the more productive agents in the area. I left the firm in April 2017 with a vision to start a tech-forward, service oriented real estate office dedicated to give clients a better real estate experience while staying ahead of the trends. Also, being in the business for over 13 years, I’ve seen the ebbs and flows of the rental market and have been through the best and worst of the condo market. As such, I’m confident in my abilities to communicate clear direction and advice to my clients and customers for them to make the right decisions.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
From the onset, I’ve had a very clear direction regarding our vision. The difficulty lies with the implementation and trying to stay present along the way. It’s easy to think of where you want to be in 5 years. It’s much more difficult to stay on task and forge the path that will get you there. Kingston REM’s website went through countless edits in efforts to present the public with a comprehensive, one-stop resource complete with not just listings, but regularly updated fresh and local information and features. Also, the majority of Kingston REM’s marketing is grass roots, boots-on-the-ground style with a heavy focus on social media and multimedia platforms which I am solely managing. Good, creative and useful content our clients can engage with is an essential part of our program. I’m very particular about what I share with my clients and followers.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Kingston Real Estate & Management is a full service real estate firm located in Coolidge Corner, Brookline, servicing the Greater Boston area. At Kingston REM, all our agents receive daily, hands-on training and a personalized game plan. Senior agents have the tools and support they need to enhance their competitive edge, support growth and create avenues for residual income. Agents are continually trained and equipped with office-wide, cutting edge mobile technologies, access to exclusive listings and a robust, real estate-centric CRM. We’re always committed to staying ahead of the trends and leveraging technology available to us. We are consistently finding new ways to do business but are committed to the fundamentals essential to real estate such as communication, in-person meetings and being a local resource to the community.

What were you like growing up?
I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, the middle kid of a family of 5. My parents told me that as a child, I would walk up to strangers, tug on their shirts and chat with them so it’s safe to say I’ve always been a social person. I made a bucket list when I was a teenager and now own two of the four items on it- my 1968 Camaro and an Addams Family pinball machine (which I keep in my office). I worked in the restaurant & hospitality industry beginning at 16 yrs. old and eventually co-owned a bar at the age of 22. Two years later in 2004, I sold to my partner, packed up and moved to Boston. I was instantly captivated by the local real estate market and dove right in.
