This local gem was founded by Nick Lisotta, a pasta connoisseur. He has spent the last ten years traveling the country as a gourmet chef, cooking & working at the best restaurants, all while hand rolling and folding up to 2,000 pieces of pasta daily.
Lisotta is passionate about crafting Sorriso’s exclusive products, developed with the use of stone milled flour. Not only is it better for you, but it also has a kick-ass amount of flavor with a higher nutrient value. Due to the pasta’s all around greatness, it allows people with different sensitivities to really enjoy food again.
If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a gallery, featuring the talented Thomas Arvid. Sarriso displays the largest collection of Arvid’s work, redefines still life paintings of, you guessed it, WINE! Arvid is a Detroit native, and has spent his life’s purpose producing landscapes of people sharing wine, and he is AMAZING at it! He believes that “Life without art is like dinner without wine – why bother?” and we think those are some of the best words to live by.
