Kenmore Square may look a whole lot different in the next few years! Two developers have submitted plans for several buildings in the square.
•
One plan would add 677 more rooms to the Buckminster Hotel between two new towers and would include “rooftop amenity space...open to the public” as well.
•
Citgo Sign Block would replace 6 of the 7 buildings and would include an “extensive overhaul” of the building which supports the sign. The developer says the plan would “reinvigorate the underutilized and partially vacant buildings” in the neighborhood. The buildings would add an additional 88,000 sq. ft. of retail and office space.
