What: Halloween Horror Marathon
Coolidge Corner Theater’s 2022 Halloween Horror Marathon will be 13 terrifying hours of vampiric classics on the big screen – all on 35mm film!
The marathon’s 21st year will kick off with a reconstruction of Tod Browning’s 1927 lost masterpiece, London After Midnight. Then, the original Dracula will be presented. After that, you’ll find yourself fast-forwarding a bit in time to Tom Holland’s 1985 Fright Night.
Intrigued? How could you not be! Unfortunately, KREM can’t give you the rest of the details because the following hours of movies will “stay in their coffins until they hit the screen, with plenty of ghastly thrills and supernatural surprises along the way!”
Oh – and did we mention there’s going to be a costume contest? Come dressed to the nines in what you think could win you first place – the winner will be determined and announced during the first movie showing.
