National Blood Donor Month

Our #kingstoncares inaugural post features the Red Cross National Blood Donor Month in January!

National Blood Donor Month has been observed in Jan. since 1970 with the goal of increasing blood donations during winter- one of the most difficult times to collect enough blood to meet demand.

And just because January is the “official” month doesn’t mean it’s a once a year type thing. You can donate blood every two weeks so let’s make a habit of it! Your donation can inspire others and, well, we’d be lying if we didn’t hope this whole #kingstoncares didn’t catch on and inspire a bunch of you to act generously!

Pop into the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center in the Dana-Farber Cancer institute to donate. If you need something scheduled, check out the Red Cross’s website or DL their app. Better yet, JOIN US TOMORROW, Jan 8th between 2-7pm at the VFW Post #864 in Brookline to donate! Kingston REM Broker//Owner @adam_j_mundt and Agent Extraordinaire @admrost will be participating.
